In collaboration with the KCH Creative Arts & Education Department, I took lead in the campaign for Messy Monsters, a parent-child participation art club revived from 2019. This involved creating an 8-Step Marketing Plan that outlines three key components: a sale-leading marketing goal, understanding of target audience, client needs and frustrations, and specific marketing tactics.
The marketing plan I created for Messy Monsters also include the marketing mix of channels that I plan on using to meet the marketing goal, such as flyers, lobby banner, and digital signs for physical marketing, website and email graphics for digital marketing, and an organic Instagram social and story post for social media marketing. In addition to that, I’ve laid out a budget sheet determining the marketing expenses and projected income. My campaign calendar includes deadlines such as when content is due to marketing, proofing and revisions, the date(s) marketing materials should be released to public, date promotion starts/ class goes on sale, and dates of continuing promotions and social media posts. The design and final delivery of all marketing collaterals is my favorite part and the part that I excel best as a graphic designer.
When this Art Club concludes in December 2024, the next step to this campaign is to measure, analyze and adjust based on which goals and objectives were met, and asses why this campaign was successful or unsuccessful. The entire 8-Step Marketing plan becomes a complete document to use to prepare a newer and improved campaign for next year’s classes.
